This little device connects to your cable box, your VCR or DVD player and decodes the embedded closed captions. When it detects a word in the banned list it mutes the sound - ingenious!
Its a great way to annoy your kids and have a little fun!
To use this you will need some old school video equipment that has RCA-type jacks for audio and video and a TV that does as well. This box connects in-line between those pieces of equipment. And don't worry that your kids won't just unplug it - they can't! The audio and video cables are locked inside the device and only you have the key. So much fun!!
This has been in storage and was (is) new, never used, never even opened, until I opened it to take these photos. As you can tell from the photos the box is rough but the unit itself is perfect and includes all accessories - even the key - in an unopened-from-the-factory sealed bag. A little piece of late 90s vintage heaven.
